Position Available: Patient Coordinator

Duties of the Position:

· Makes appointments and maintains all calendar functions including meetings and vacations.

· Responsible for confirming all of the appointments.

· Answers the telephone(s).

· Updates patient information in the computer.

· Responsible for sending recall cards.

· Calls patients who no-show for appointments.

· Takes new patient phone calls, completes information slip and send welcome letters.

· Keeps track of statistics on outstanding active patients without appointments.

· Responsible for recall and retention appointment follow-ups.

Insurance verification, authorization and claims filing.

· Often responsible for posting payments at the front desk and asking for payment if payment is due on the account.

· Maintains a neat reception room.

· Responsible for opening & closing office (doors, blinds, heat/AC, lights, etc.)

· Marketing: Expand outreach to local dental offices, Local school visits, Community events.

Organization of Position: The person in this position reports directly to the Office Coordinator.

Benefits: 40 hours paid vacation, 40 hours paid sick leave, and paid holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
